A British girl, an Australian guy, and somehow Queenstown is where it all made sense.

Joanne and Troy didn’t need a grand venue. They got married in their own backyard, in the town they chose together, in the home they made their own. That’s about as romantic as it gets.

We snuck away to Lake Moke for their first look, then up to Skippers Peak for photos, and the whole day felt exactly like them. Easy, adventurous, and completely theirs.

Two people from opposite sides of the world, building a life in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Sounds about right.
